Face to Face Auslan Training
Miss Amy offers personalised face-to-face Auslan training tailored to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. Lessons are designed with age-appropriate activities that match the child's cognitive level, ensuring effective learning of Auslan. Additionally, Miss Amy works with families and extended family members to help them learn Auslan, fostering strong communication and building meaningful relationships with their deaf or hard of hearing child.
Auslan After School
Miss Amy offers an Auslan After-School Program on the Gold Coast for primary school-aged Deaf and Hard of Hearing children (ages 5-12). This fun and interactive program provides a safe "Deaf Space" where children can engage in activities such as cooking, art, and games, all while improving their Auslan skills directly from a Deaf Mentors. The sessions are designed to help develop their identity, self-esteem, and a sense of community.
